2010 Summer Camps.
Pro-Formance Goaltending announces summer 2010 Dates & Locations. June 14-18, 2010 Foothills Ice Arena July 8-10, 2010 Steamboat Springs July 26-30, 2010 Arapahoe Family Sports Center.

Pro-Formance Goaltending was founded on the concept of providing affordable individual instruction for each goaltender.

At Pro-Formance Goaltending camps each goaltender will learn how to be in position wherever a shot comes from and how to react properly and effectively to make the save.  Further, camps will also focus on improving skating ability and the introduction of proper puck playing skills.

Participants of Pro-Formance Goaltending will learn how to “simplify” the position.  With improved technique, speed, and awareness, the goaltender’s play will transform from average to exceptional.

CAMP DESIGN

CAMPS WILL BE LIMITED TO 18 GOALTENDER’S TO ENSURE EVERY GOALIE RECEIVES MAXIMUM INSTRUCTION

All Pro-Formance Camps will include:

On-Ice training, and Dry-Land workouts

On-Ice Sessions:

3 Hours per day on-ice.  Each session will be designed to teach the importance of body             positioning and technique

*Each Camp will include one 1.5 hour ice  session devoted to skating and puck playing skills

Dry-Land Sessions:

Each Dry-Land session will be modeled after Canadian Jr. A Training Programs.  This program will include exercises to improve flexibility, core strength, foot speed, and reaction time.

Chris Gassman
Chris is currently the Director of the Colorado Jr. Eagles Youth Hockey Program as well as the Head Goaltending Instructor for the Jr Eagles.  Chris, a native of Colorado, has been a goaltender for over 10 years. During his career Chris played at the AA and Collegiate levels.

Matt Gassman
Matt is currently the University of Denver Goalie Coach.  Prior to coaching Matt played goal for over 10 years at the AA and AAA level in Colorado, Jr. A for the Winnipeg South Blues in the Manitoba Jr. Hockey League., Jr. A for the Helena Big Horns in the NAHL, and for Nichols College in Massachusetts.
